Upload a photo of your pet, add their name, and we’ll turn it into a personalised mug made especially for you. The design is created from their actual photo, so no two mugs feel quite the same.

Designed primarily for dogs and cats, although other pets can also work well with a clear photo.

It also makes a genuinely personal gift for a pet owner. Most pet gifts could belong to anyone. This one begins with a photo of their actual pet — and that is what makes it feel different.

You approve the design before we print — always

After you order, we prepare your personalised design and send you a preview by email, usually within 24 hours.

If you would like a small adjustment, simply reply to the preview email before approving it. Production begins only after you are happy with the design.

Every photo is checked before production. If the uploaded photo is not suitable for a good result, we’ll contact you and ask for another one.

No guessing and no unexpected design — you see and approve it before your mug is made.

How it works

1. Upload your pet’s photo
Choose a clear, well-lit photo where your pet is the main subject. You do not need a professional photograph — a good phone photo usually works well.

2. Personalise your mug
Add your pet’s name, choose a font, and select the print layout you prefer — right, left, front, or both sides.

3. Approve your preview
We’ll email your personalised design, usually within 24 hours. Approve it when you are happy, or reply before approval if you would like a small adjustment.

4. We print and ship
Once approved, your mug is made to order, carefully packaged, and shipped with tracking.

Choosing the right photo

The quality of the original photo matters more than the type of pet. For the best result, choose a photo that is:

• Clear and well-lit — natural daylight is ideal
• Focused on one pet
• Sharp, without motion blur
• Close enough for the pet to fill most of the frame
• Free from objects covering important parts of the pet’s face

Cropped photos are completely fine as long as the pet is clearly visible.

Try to avoid dark, blurry, heavily filtered, or very distant photos. Screenshots and compressed social-media images may contain less detail than the original photograph.

Not sure whether your photo is good enough? Upload the clearest version you have. We’ll check it and contact you before production if another photo would create a better result.

Made for everyday use

Your design is printed on a classic white glossy ceramic mug. The 11 oz size holds approximately 325 ml and works well for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and other everyday drinks.

The mug is dishwasher and microwave safe, so it is made to be enjoyed rather than left sitting on a shelf.

Each mug can currently feature one pet. If you would like mugs featuring different pets, personalise and add each mug to the cart separately.

Minor differences in colour or placement may occur between the on-screen preview and the finished ceramic product because screens and physical printing reproduce colours differently.

It makes a thoughtful gift for birthdays, Christmas, a new pet, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or simply for someone who never gets tired of talking about their pet.

You can have the mug delivered to yourself so that you can wrap and present it personally, or enter the recipient’s address at checkout to have it shipped directly to them.

Please note: Orders sent directly to the recipient arrive in a plain protective cardboard shipping box and are not gift-wrapped. The design preview is always sent to your email for approval.

Ordering for a particular occasion? Allow at least 2–3 weeks before the date to be safe.

Delivery

Because every mug is personalised, the total delivery time includes the design preview, your approval, production, and shipping.

Most orders arrive within approximately 7–14 business days when the design preview is approved promptly. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed, but tracking is included once your mug ships.

Free tracked shipping is included for delivery to Belgium and the Netherlands.

Cancellations, returns and problems

Before design approval:
You may cancel your order before approving the design preview. Email support@petcup.shop with your order number.

After design approval:
Production begins after you approve the design. Because the mug is then made specifically to your requirements, change-of-mind cancellations and returns are not available after approval.

If something is wrong:
If your mug arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from the approved preview, contact us and include a photograph of the issue. We’ll arrange an appropriate replacement or refund.

This does not affect your legal rights if the product is faulty or not as described.

Will I see the design before it is printed?
Yes — always. We email you a personalised preview, and production begins only after you approve it.

Can I request a change to the preview?
Yes. Reply to the preview email before approving it and tell us what you would like adjusted.

Can I include two pets on one mug?
Not currently. Each mug can feature one pet.

What happens if my photo is not suitable?
We’ll contact you before production and ask for another photo. Your mug is printed only after you have seen and approved the finished design.

Can I send the mug directly to someone else?
Yes. Enter the recipient’s delivery address at checkout. The design preview will still be sent to your email. The mug arrives in a plain protective cardboard shipping box and is not gift-wrapped.

Is the mug dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes, it is dishwasher and microwave safe.
